December 2009 - January 2010 'Bro' takes center stage in 'Kapamilya' Christmas (4.67MB) PASKO na, Kapamilya! You know it’s Christmas when décor in the season’s colors start popping up on major thoroughfares and the mall muzak is interspersed with carols. And, for kapamilyas all over the world, Christmas is definitely around the corner when the station ID featuring their favorite singers, actors and other media personalities starts getting airplay on Channel 2.

(GSTI).

August 2009 MMLDC: A world-class training center (4553 kb) To Antipolo residents, the sprawling Meralco Management and Leadership Development Center (MMLDC) along Sumulong Highway is a familiar sight, even if most of them have never ventured inside the grounds or know anything much about the landmark. But to thousands of others that have benefited from its programs, there is so much more to the 10-hectare expense.

July 2009 Generation Next (2085 kb) Eugenio H. Lopez has 22 grandchildren -13 of whom now work for the Lopez Group and in time will run it. His grandchildren say that their work today gives them a new way to connect with their grandfather and his values. Don Eugenio has been gone for 34 years, but something of his spirit still remains in the institutions he left behind.

April 2009 OML welcomes synergies with new Meralco partners (2076 kb) Lopez Group chairman Oscar M. Lopez (OML) is looking forward to achieving synergies with new corporate partners in Meralco. In a statement announcing an investments and cooperation agreement with PLDT, OML said, "We are very optimistic with this new partnership. We believe that we can leverage the strengths and synergies inherent among each of the partners and ultimately benefit our customers and the country as a whole."

An 80-20 joint venture between First Philippine Electric Corporation and Sun Power Philippines Manufacturing Ltd. (SPML), FPSC came about after a series of fortuitous events.
